Should she hold up a sign that says I’m available?” If there is nothing wrong with a girl and she is available she is such a sign. If you are not believed it is because it is an oxymoron. If she needs to literally hold up a sign, she’s doing it wrong, and thus refutes the claim that there isn’t anything wrong with her. At the very least her social skills are retarded to below the level of a 5 year old. 65 LynM says: July 16, 2014 at 12:29 pm I was trying to say in#35, what Rollo said in#54….but he said it better. Zealot, over protective, helicopter parents can stifle a child’s social life. If she has anything going for her at all, she needs to just grow up and escape Mom’s “protective custody” and learn to navigate the social dynamics of the world out there. Hopefully, she’ll be able to do that with her values intact.
